Hello Trenton,
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself to you as the new Principal of Trenton Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich tradition in education! I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty-eight years. I have worked with a variety of students ranging in age from Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade. My most recent administrative experience was in Sherman ISD where I served as an assistant principal for five years.
I am a lifelong resident of Bells, Texas. I have 2 grown sons and live on the cattle farm where I grew up. My oldest son, Carter, is a senior engineering major at the University of Texas in Arlington. My youngest son, Hogan, graduated from Bells High School in 2021 and is currently farming and cattle ranching. We have shown cattle for years, and in my spare time, I am happy to be out in the barn or in the kitchen cooking for my family. My two brothers still also live and Bells, and we all get together with our families for Sunday dinner.
My desire is to work alongside the staff, parents, and community to continue the legacy of success established by Trenton Elementary School. I stand firm in my commitment to building strong relationships with all stakeholders. I believe if we focus on positive behavior and character education initiatives while holding students accountable for their actions, we can ensure we are giving students the skills to be successful citizens of our community. I look forward to working alongside each of you to educate our youngest Tigers to reach their full potential.
