The Trenton ISD Board of Trustees was recogized by the Texas School Board Association as being one of only 85 school districts in Texas that had 100% of its leadership team attend the 2023 TASB Convention.
The TASB Convention provides school boards with the opportuntiy to expand their knowledge in all school related areas and stay up to date on important topics in public education.

TES APRIL STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Rhea Smith and Rita Stahl - Campus Heroes
Rita Stahl wears so many hats in the district. She comes and solves many problems for us without being asked. She is always willing to help and truly cares about the kids. Ms. Rita builds relationships with her bus kids and their families. She checks in on her kids to make sure they are having a good day.
I am so thankful for our new custodian, Rhea Smith. She is doing a great job, and she is so incredibly sweet. Rhea is an amazing addition to our school. We are so lucky to have her. Anna Ammerman (Kindergarten Teacher)

TES APRIL STUDENT LEADERS
Wyatt Johnston - 4th Grade and Maggie Canales - Pre-K
Wyatt Johnston exhibits all the qualities of a ROARing Tiger. Wyatt and another student were playing a main idea game. The other student was struggling and upset because he thought he would lose the game. Wyatt noticed and told the other student if he got the winning tile, he would give it to him. Wyatt is the peacemaker with other students and his siblings. He is a leader always trying to make sure others have what they need. - Amy Chambers (Reading Interventionist)
Maggie Canales is a team player. She is always a good friend to everyone in Pre-K and works hard to learn something new each day. She can hardly wait to be in Kindergarten and show her teacher how much she loves to write her letters. (Jana Baugh - Pre-K Teacher)
