It was a great night at the Lady Tigers softball game as we honored outgoing board member Amy Withrow before the game.
Mrs. Withrow has served on the board of trustees for 9 years. During Mrs. Withrow's time as a board member our district has seen amazing growth and accomplishments.
Our district has increased teacher/staff pay, improved teacher/staff benefits and incentives, recovered from a flood in our middle school, a fire at our elementary, and passed the largest bond in school history. We have also added programs like robotics, band, and powerlifting to provide students more opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.
None of this would be possible without Mrs. Withrow and her fellow board members. Mrs. Withrow has served our district with dignity, respect, and an unwavering love for our students and staff.
Mrs. Withrow was joined tonight by her husband Dean, daughters Jordan and Jessica, grandchildren Hudson and Hayden and many others family members.
Hudson had the honor of throwing out the first pitch of the game.
Current board members Allen Lambright, Henry Baker, Tommy Green, and Elisha Stufflebeme also joined in the celebration of Mrs. Withrow's service to our district.
Thank you for nine years of service and dedication to the students and staff of Trenton ISD. #TigersTogether
