TES February Student Leaders
Evie Eaton - 2nd Grade and Mateo De La Torre - 3rd Grade
Evie Eaton consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Her eagerness to participate in class activities and genuine curiosity contribute to a positive learning environment. Evie not only values her own desire to learn but inspires others in their learning. Evie recently wrote an amazing story that sparked many of her fellow classmates to be authors. Evie is an excellent role model. She is someone you can count on to set an example of what class expectations should look like. She is kind, treats all students and staff with respect, and takes ownership of her learning. It is a pleasure being Evie's teacher. Jennifer Nager (2nd Grade Teacher)
Mateo De La Torre is a model third grade Trenton Tiger. He works hard everyday - always with a positive attitude. Mateo is a great friend and mentor to his peers and brothers. He is often seen helping others. His positive attitude brings light to students and staff members at TES. (Pamela Slough (3rd Grade Teacher)

Mendy Hill - TISD Dyslexia Teacher
Mendy Hill is a vital part of Trenton Elementary School. She is an excellent dyslexia teacher, helping her students reach exceptional growth in their reading skills and confidence. Mrs. Hill is very thorough and truly cares about the success of her students. She also volunteers and pitches in with any need from coaching our UIL Story Telling Team, to taking out the trash in the building when our custodian is absent. Mrs. Hill is a trusted member of our leadership team, is someone you can count on to run an idea by, and will always listen to you. I have never seen her in a bad mood. She is always smiling, and finds the positive. Mrs. Hill is so welcoming, and a great addition to TES. (Samantha Listello (3rd Grade Teacher and Kelly Dudley (TES Counselor)
