The yearbook staff cannot cover all of the events at the Fannin County Fair, so please send pictures of your children participating in the events, showing their animals, winning a ribbon, or just having fun to Mrs. Thedford at lthedford@trentonisd.org. Don't forget to include the names of the Trenton ISD students included in each picture. Thank you!

Congratulations to the 2023 THS Homecoming Queen Ashley Vasquez! The entire homecoming court looked amazing tonight. A special thank you to Mrs. Alexander for making tonight's ceremony so special for these young ladies.
We had an amazing week of homecoming activities and it was great seeing all the school spirit on display this week. TigersTogether #ROAR
Tiger Families,
Please see the parking map included in this post. We expect a large crowd for tonight's football game, along with the construction underway on the new high school, our parking lot will be more crowded than usual.
Also, we ask that our fans help us take care of our facilities/grounds by making sure to put all of your trash into the trash cans. It takes our custodial crew several hours to clean up after our games.
We look forward to seeing you at the game tonight!
Thank you for helping us keep TISD looking great! #TigersTogether #ROAR

October is National Principal Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment and recognize the incredible work our principals do every day for the students of Trenton ISD. Being a school principal is without a doubt one of the most challenging jobs in our profession. These are the dedicated leaders who navigate countless challenges to create the best learning environment for our students.
Trenton ISD is fortunate to have these three principals who demonstrate commitment to our school and community. They lead our campuses with passion and dedication, striving each day to make a positive impact on our students.
Thank you Ms. Harris, Mr. Breckon, and Mr. Anderson. We appreciate everything you do to make our schools better for the staff and students of TISD.
We had a great Homecoming parade and pep rally this evening! We want to say a special thank you to the City of Trenton Police Department and the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department for all of their assistance in helping us with the parade this evening.
The students did a great job with their floats and we enjoyed seeing so many families lined up along the parade route and in attendance at the pep rally!
Don't forget that kickoff for the homecoming game is at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. Our volleyball teams also play at home on Friday starting at 4:30 p.m.

Homecoming Activities Update: We are moving forward with the plans for the homecoming parade and pep rally with the following changes: Parade Lineup is now at 5 pm in front of the high school (between the middle and high school buildings). The parade will begin as soon as all floats are in line. The pep rally will be held at the football stadium and it will start at the conclusion of the parade. All floats will park where they lined up to start the parade. Please understand that the weather may still impact our plans. If needed, we will move to our alternate plan. (Pep rally only in the high school gym) Any changes will be announced on our Facebook page. Sincerely, Jeremy Strickland Superintendent Trenton ISD
Lady Tigers defeat Whitewright Congratulations to our Lady Tigers on a BIG district win tonight over Whitewright! #TigersTogether #ROAR
Homecoming Activity Update:
We are watching the weather forecast closely and trying to determine if the weather will impact tomorrow's homecoming activities. We will make a decision at Noon tomorrow regarding the homecoming parade.
If the weather impacts the parade, our alternate plan will be to try and have the pep rally in the high school gym at 6:30 p.m. If the weather is severe tomorrow evening, we may have to reschedule the pep rally.
Again, we will make a decision at Noon tomorrow and post it on our Facebook page and ParentSquare.
Sincerely,
