SAFETY FIRST
At TISD Safety is our first priority. This year TES has successfully completed a Fire Drill and Lockdown Drill. Today all students did an excellent job with our Evacuation Drill. Officer Rhodes praised the students and staff for the safe and orderly evacuation. TigersROAR!

TES SEPTEMBER STAFF SPOTLIGHT - Lucy Martinez (Special Education Aide)
We often talk about building relationships with our students and parents. Lucy Martinez does more than just talk about relationships, she loves all students and shows it by caring about and supporting many of our non-English speaking students and families. Lucy goes above and beyond everyday - never asking for or expecting anything extra.
Not only does she support students, her commitment to families goes beyond a normal work day. Lucy is always smiling and happy, and she encourages all students to learn and grow. Mrs. Martinez is loved by so many and is truly appreciated for all she does.

Lady Tigers Volleyball opens district play with the Win over Tioga.

TES SEPTEMBER STUDENT LEADERS
I nominate Blayse Brasher for the Boy September Student Leader. Blayse is new to Trenton this year and truly understands what it means to be a Tiger. Blayse in kind to all, works hard, and always has a good attitude. I can always count on Blayse to do the right thing no matter what. I am so glad Blayse is part of my classroom. (Jennifer Nager - 3rd Grade Reading Teacher)
I nominate Giselle Gomez for the Girl September Student Leader. Giselle leads by example, is a hard worker, makes good choices, is considerate of others, and is helpful to her teacher and classmates. She is a great leader in our classroom. (Michelle Johnson - 2nd Grade Teacher)
